Beauty - Will you?

Do you want to be beautiful? Truly Beautiful? Read on... It's simple. Not easy, simple.
BEAUTY - it’s something everybody wants. To either be or to posses. Or to hold on to for as long as possible.  In some cases, to regain. 

Beauty comes in various forms. It is not just an inherently female attribute. It also does not have to be physical. Power, Success, Victory, Intelligence are all beautiful. Beauty can be a symptom of many other positive qualities and situations. 

Beauty is attractive. It invites. It says that where it resides other amazing things are nearby. It can make us think that if we get it we will have all the other things we want. 

Beauty has a past. When we see beauty manifested in an aesthetic physique, in an athletic performance, or in some other manner, we are in awe. We have a deep respect for all the time, effort, and dedication that went into it. That past is the true beauty. 

Beauty is hard to define. It is rare and yet can be found all around if one is observant. Can you train it? Absolutely. Will you?...

What is beauty to you? 

IS - Sometimes it is easier to say what beauty is NOT. 

It is not Lazy. Even if one posses genetics that help, true beauty lies in the development of that potential. The same goes for any attribute or “gift” we posses. 

It is not a Fad. It is not a gimmick or a “special” diet that can not be sustained. It is not found on a bandwagon. 

It is not an Accident. It is not a passive evolution. Even if it appears miraculously it always has a deep backstory. A rich history of dedication and earnest. 

It is not Quick. Beauty does not take the shortcut. It does not come in a pill or potion. If it does, beware. The side effects are ugly.​

​EFFORT - it’s something we have control over. There are so many things in life we can’t control. Such as our genetics or certain parts of out environment. 

It’s a power we can wield at will to accomplish what ever we set our mind to. That’s the beauty of training. It’s an area of life that we can succeed at.
 

The process of using effort to achieve what you want is true for many areas of life. It’s simple and straightforward in the realm of fitness. 
​

It requires intelligent effort. Then once you attain your training goals you can gain confidence in achieving other pursuits. Let that beauty spread throughout your entire life.
