"Benny Biceps", "Vanilla Gorilla", "Ben Cash", "Big Ben"...He goes by many names but to us he's just Ben. His latest transformation is outstanding. In just 12 weeks Ben went from 207 Lbs to 194 Lbs.
Ben is a Neurodiagnostic Technician & a Health and Fitness Fanatic! He is definitely not a newbie when it comes to training. Ben has been a regular and dedicated lifter for the past 12 years and has a very good knowledge base concerning nutrition and about what it means to eat healthy. Also, Ben is just a cool dude. The kind of guy that you want to lift with and then go hang out and have drinks with. What we really appreciate about ben is his mental attitude and drive.
He is always willing to push his limits and his consistency and determination is motivating and inspiring. He is hard core but not intimidating. A constant focus with a positive jovial outlook.
In just 12 weeks Ben went from 207 Lbs to 194 Lbs.
Ben loves to train. Always has. But he was now in pain and feeling banged up. So number 1 for Ben was getting out of pain. A close second for Ben was to reach new peaks of fitness. Stronger, leaner, better, and really push his physical capabilities.
As mentioned Ben wasn’t a newcomer to lifting. But his experience came with a cost. Like many experienced, driven lifters Ben had a serious back injury in his early 20s. This injury was life altering. It became a nagging injury that kept rearing its ugly head over the years. On top of that in the recent past Ben also injured his shoulder. So while he loved to train he was now unable to do what he loved.
WHAT DID DHS DO TO HELP?
Pain. We had to get rid of the pain. We got Ben moving again pain free. We did this by pinpointing the root cause of his pain, imbalances, and injuries. We were able to free up his shoulder and regain his pain free range of motion back.
For Ben’s Lower Back injury that was a little harder. We had to correct his posture globally. And then we taught him how to brace his core and use his muscles to move. It’s very easy to move and “hang” off of just the ligaments and joints.
We were able to teach him the proper corrective exercises for his body and then regulate his effort and intensity to match his healing. This allowed Ben to get into the best shape of his life!
