Bracing your core is super important for increasing your performance as an athlete or just fixing low back pain.⁣
⁣

Dr Stuart McGill @backfitpro has coined this phrase as an excellent cue on how to protect your spine during big lifts and normal activity. ⁣
⁣
Since all movement originates from the core, you could say it's the foundation of exercise. You should brace before any exercise. ⁣
⁣
