Even when chaos gets the best of our routine, I’ve found that the best solution to stay on track, and keep some balance in your life is my “Go for two” Strategy. Are you interested in learning what “Go for two” means to Dark Horse Sports? Think about this, If your team is behind do you forfeit the whole game? Absolutely not!
In Football when you're down points you have to “Go For 2”. To keep your momentum in progress, I use the “Go for two” Strategy.
Here’s how it works:
Even if you’ve missed the first couple workouts of the week, it's still not a complete loss! You can still “Win the Week” You can save it by “Going for two”. I recommend getting two opposite day workouts in for the week.
Pick your favorite day (that's easy) and a day you HATE (we know! It sucks!) But by doing this you’ll maintain balance during a shorter week. You can split it up into Upper and Lower body, Push day and Pull day or Chest day and Leg day. Just as long as you make sure that in those two days you are working every muscle group.
